Some people choose to become artists. In the case of Lola M. Black, it was her birthright. Born into a home of artists, She spent her childhood years in Hawaii and Tokyo. She studied fashion illustration and painting at Setsu Mode seminar (Art Academy in Tokyo), moved to New York to pursue art in 1995, and studied fine art at The Art Student's League of New York and National Academy School of Fine Arts.
